A TAVOLA !
A multidisciplinary project that brings together gastronomy, design and good conversation around a table.
I remember one day my mother told me that at our table there would always be a chair for a friend who needed to feel accompanied. This innate and spontaneous generosity of the South has undoubtedly been inspiring. Gathering more friends around the table to enjoy the pleasures of cooking is something ritual, sacred and necessary in our lives.
Designing a table has always been a shared and complete experience: the crockery, the cutlery, the lighting…
The colour white predominates with an enveloping softness, accompanying the whispered conversations that mingle with the clinking of cutlery, the crackling of candles, the sweetness of the flowers and the exclamations of “ma che buono!”.
A parade of dishes, each duly announced. The architects of this banquet are sisters Sandra and Ainhoa ( F I T A ), who have designed and cooked with millimetric precision a menu that evokes the dishes and traditions of my native home. They have delved into a gastronomic imaginary between childhood memories and respect for the produce.
The final cherry and hymn to indulgence is a sweet creation by María ( SWEETSALTYKITCHEN ), where unexpected flavours and textures have been interwoven for the enjoyment of the 16 diners.
