Course on design and application of ceramic decals given by Natalia from the Asturian studio WOODIC.
WOODIC is a studio located in a wild and green enclave, the Asturian village of El Valle; Natalia is the one behind this unique project of design and ceramics and who will teach this workshop with all her wisdom and energy. This ceramic decals workshop will also help inspire the students to design, invent and illustrate their own world and then see it transferred onto a ceramic piece. The workshop consists of three steps, the first two are preparation and will be completed before the day of the workshop. On the 25th, after a brief explanation of the decorative techniques, Natalia will teach you how to prepare and apply the ceramic decals. In the following days the pieces will be ready for collection.
Step 1: Design and production of ceramic pieces : 1 plate, 1 cup and 1 medium bowl (glazed before the workshop). Ceramic pieces produced by our studio will be available for workshop participants who are unable to provide their own work.
Step 2: Graphic design for printing on decal paper. Decals previously made by the studio will be available for those who cannot make them.
Workshop: Preparation, cutting and application of decals on the ceramic supports guided by Natalia.

Curso de diseño y aplicación de calcas cerámicas impartido por Natalia del estudio asturiano WOODIC.
WOODIC es un estudio situado en un enclave salvaje y verde, el pueblo asturiano de El Valle; Natalia es quién está detrás de este proyecto único de diseño y cerámica y quien impartirá este taller con toda su sabiduría y energía. Este taller de calcas cerámicas ayudará también a estimular los alumnos a diseñar, inventar e ilustrar su propio mundo para después verlo transferido en un soporte cerámico. Este taller consta de tres pasos, los primeros dos son preparatorios y tienen unas fechas limite. El día 25 durante tres horas, después de una breve explicación de las técnicas decorativas, Natalia enseñará a preparar y aplicar las calcas cerámicas. En los días siguientes las piezas estarán listas par su recogida.
Paso 1: Diseño y realización de piezas cerámicas : 1 plato, 1 taza y 1 cuenco mediano (esmaltados antes del workshop). Piezas realizadas anteriormente por el estudio estarán disponibles para quien no pueda realizarlas.
Paso 2: Diseño de gráfica para impresión sobre papel de calcas. Calcas realizadas anteriormente por el estudio estarán disponibles para quien no pueda realizarlas.
