Step into our studio for a transformative hands-on learning experience in wheel-based ceramics with our director Roberto Paparcone.
Roberto personally leads intimate workshops and classes exploring the art and technique of throwing on the wheel. Master techniques like centring, opening clay, pulling walls, trimming and glazing under his expert guidance.
Roberto provides thoughtful, tailored instruction for all levels, whether you’re a beginner looking to discover a new creative passion or a seasoned ceramicist ready to improve your skills through refinements and innovations. Roberto’s relaxed, engaging style makes learning on the wheel both fulfilling and fun.
All experiences take place in in our fully equipped centrally located Palma studio.
Intensive Workshop
Structure & Content
This is an exclusive experience where you will learn and improve as quickly as possible whether you’re a beginner or expert.
- Workshops can be booked at a time that suits your schedule.
- Each workshop is 4 hours long. (It’s possible to customise this time for longer sessions.)
- The workshop is 180€ per person or 320€ if you bring a friend and do the workshop together.
- Workshops can be taught in Spanish, English & Italian.
- Payment in full is required to guarantee your workshop place. We encourage submitting a request as soon as possible to reserve your time.
Get a headstart
We highly recommend completing an intensive workshop before signing up to one of our monthly wheel throwing classes.
Taking an intensive wheel-throwing workshop first allows you to build core skills and confidence before the ongoing classes. You’ll get personalised tailored guidance from Roberto through hands-on practice.
The intensive format condenses learning so you can rapidly gain competency on the wheel. Starting with this foundational knowledge means you can hit the ground running once your monthly course begins.

MONTHLY CLASSES
Structure & Content
- Classes are held once a week.
- Each session is 2 hours long.
- There are a maximum of 4 classes per month.
- Classes are maximum of 4/5 people.
- Classes are taught in Spanish, English & Italian.
- Depending on your experience we will start with the basic steps… you will discover how to shape an idea… prepare the clay by hand… then you will learn how to work with the potter’s wheel, investigating shapes and techniques.
- Classes allow you to drive your own learning experience through independent practice while getting coaching from Roberto. This makes learning suitable for both beginners and those with experience.
- Our classes come with some light expectations around cleaning, equipment usage and scheduling to ensure a positive experience for all. These will be shared before you start.

Pricing
- The price is 120€ per person per month.
- The minimum attendance period is two months.
- All necessary equipment is included: clay, tools, glaze (transparent matte or gloss) and low temperature firings in our kiln.
